WeTu Launches Safe and Affordable Water

Within a month of its launch, WeTu the social enterprise from Siemens Stiftung has already started providing safe and affordable drinking water for communities in rural Kenya.  Two WeWater services have been launched at Mbita and Sori, that offer round the clock fresh drinking water to residents. The water hubs function like 24/7 ATM services and are powered by solar energy. They use innovative technology for water filtration and have been received with open hands by the local community who have been relying on the impure water from the nearby lake.
